Well, swing and a miss. I attended class, had a good workout, met the former manager slash member that came in tonight Really cool gal. It was very casual and got to meet her. The manager at the studio introduced me and the gal. We hit it off really nicely, had a good workout, that was awesome, and at the end I could tell they were just going to hit it off really nicely. Had a good workout, that was awesome, and at the end, um, I could tell like they were just gonna hit it up and so I um just hey, nice to meet you, welcome to the studio, hope to see you around, and just walked myself out the door, simple as that.

Speaker 1:

Long story short, um, she doesn't want to get into management again. It kind of soured her experience as a member while working there and that's interesting that I've heard that from some people that dynamic changes when you work somewhere and you're a customer somewhere, the the other members, members treat you differently, and so that was just really fascinating that I can attest to. And so at the end of the day, at most she'll cover like one shift a week like months and months down the road. So, if anything, she and her partner week like months and months down the road. So, if anything, she and her partner, um, and maybe like some other person, will join our studio and switch over from another studio. So, kind of a bummer. I was hoping to get a gm out of the. The positive experience, or even like a shift lead looks like we're gonna get a member. I'll take the. The win. A win is a win is a win. But I'm bummed because I now don't know what to do. Everyone's clamoring for a new manager, and my manager. He's just zonked, like he's just, he's capped out and he's a brave soul, he's got thick skin, but like people are not giving him the light of day and it's frustrating, and so I don't know. I had like one person in mind and that's, that's a no-go at this point, and so I'm not quite sure how to proceed. So maybe put a job posting out. I don't know, um, but at the end of the day we got two members from it. That's awesome, that's a win, we'll take it. And, uh, we're gonna rock and roll from here.

Speaker 1:

So, heading back home, show the news with the fam. Um, oh man, it's when they, when the bank, had me write my five-year business plan, they didn't have me planned for hiring and living like week by week with stuff like this. I didn't anticipate it would be this tough to find people, but finding people we shall. So just got home Time to go inside, be a dad, rinse off afterwards and go provide. Either the current staff will do it or new staff will do it or something. But we'll figure it out. That's how things went and I'm glad I put in the hour investment and paid off. That's where we're at, that's where we're going. Let's rock and roll.
